HUNGER VIRUS

Hunger is a craving desire and urgent need for food, an uneasy sensation occasioned normally by the absence of food and resulting from the stimulation of the sensory nerves of the stomach by the contraction and churning movement of the empty stomach. Hunger has a devastating sign of gurgling, rumbling or growling in the stomach. Poverty is the major cause of hunger in the world. It might interest you to know that 2 of every 10 people in the world suffers from chronic hunger globally. About 18 percent of the world's population(815 million) could not get enough food for healthy living in 2016. UN has also estimated that 400,000 Syrians are trapped in besieged locations without access to medical treatment and food, it has also been estimated that there are about 795 million under nourished people in the world today. Hunger is a global problem and number one risk to health worldwide.
Hunger is a virus because it also has the ability to take away once life. Just as virus, hunger only multiples in a living host,  it spreads and get worst inside the stomach of a human over time. Hunger lacks a metabolic machinery of its own, making it only effective in a host cell that lacks food and other necessary vitamins. The only good difference between a virus and hunger is that; a virus has no cure, the activities of a virus can only be suppressed  while hunger has a cure which is food.
Hunger is a very deadly illness and can have serious detrimental effect on a living host. Hunger makes the body weak and vulnerable to disease and infections as the body no longer have the ability to build up the muscles and fight infections. Hunger has caused the death of many children across the globe. Do you know science have claimed that the brain cells eat up each other as a result of persistent hunger. Ok!  Starvation comes when the brain cells start to feed on each other[ take note].
A country that has suffered hunger the most is Haiti, located in North America. Do you know that about 75% of hitians do not eat three square meals a day? Some even only get to eat once in three days. Zambia, Yemen, Ethiopia, Chad, and Sudan are also countries who have citizens that starve to death on a daily basis. According to the united nations for food agency, 815 million people regularly go to bed hungry let alone countries like Sierra Leone that have poor farming skills people die of hunger there everyday. “FOA says 25,000 people are Dieing of hunger worldwide.”
Do you know that generous billionaires such as; Bill Gates has given $35.8bn,  Warren Buffet has given $34bn, Azim Premji has given $21bn, li ka -shing has given $10.7bn to the world to help fight hunger and poverty in affected countries?
