20 Things a Man must strive to attain before clocking 30 years of age

There are certain phases in our life when we are expected to make our own decisions and try to achieve something without anyone's help. This article will point out 20 things every young man should strive to achieve in life before 30. So nevertheless, if that's why you're here, you're not alone. Before I list out these things, I want you to kindly watch this video below, it's a lucidity of what you're about to read here.

Let's take a look at them.

1. Be matured: being matured is not by age, is being receptive and how you can make decisions on your own. If by 30, you don't make decisions by yourself then you will seriously fail.

2. Be in a serious relationship: you must be getting ready to settle down. At age 30, you must be in a serious relationship which may eventually land to marriage.

3. Be educated (former or informer) at this age, you must have attained a University degree or a qualification in your own field.

4. Have your own apartment: if at this age you are still living with your parents and feeding under their roof, then you're not ready to take up challenges.

5. Have a source of income: whether you're a student or graduate regardless of what you're doing, you must have a source of income to support yourself or your family.

6. Be responsible: you must stop doing what is not right and be very discipline. You must be responsible in order to circumvent financial struggle.

7. Be independent: you must learn how to take decisions with or without anyone's advice, and be very contentious.

8. Have a set goal: at this age, an individual should be more ambition and have vision of where he/she want to be in the nearest future.

9. Learn to drive a car: before you clocked 30 or if you've attained 30 already, you should by now know how to drive a car. Chances may appear and you will be fully prepared for it.

10. Have a saving: is true in Nigeria saving is difficult, but as a young man since you are not yet married, find the habit to save. In fact, having a saving habit will liberate you from financial struggle in the nearest future.

11. Stop impulse spending: If you have had this habit before, you should quit before age 30. The discipline in how to spend money will determine the path to financial success, as it guarantees an invitation to success and financial freedom.

12. Be a minimalist: you have to learn to become a minimalist as a matter of urgency. Reducing your spending and saving for tangible things can amount to financial success, whether you're a salary earner or a student.

13. Saving for a home: whether you're over 30 or almost 30, the time to start saving money for a home should start now. You don't need to wait for anything, and you don't need someone to advice you on anything. The savings for your home should be equal and very important to your plans for the near future.

14. Start an emergency saving: the reason why you need to think about this factor before you turn 30 is because age does not matter in any ramifications. You need to start planning for contingencies. You need to understand that you don't need to worry too much because the future is uncertain and you will be saving up for the worst case scenario.

15. Invest: because of it's complexity, investment is easier and easier than ever before compare to previous years. Invest wisely because for me; investing is the surest way to overcome financial battles. However and under no circumstances, invest when you are in your 30s or the later, it doesn't hurt and it can't kill you.

16. Ditch bad friends: making friends with bad and unproductive people is one of the surest ways to end up badly. Better to be alone than to have bad friends. It's okay if no one is there for you, just move on.

17. Find your passion: learn a skill and be very creative it could be anything, just find what gives you joy and what makes you happy.

18. Appreciate God: giving praises to the almighty will elevate you from all your worries and trouble, even if you don't attend worship places. By giving just praises alone, God will appreciate you in returns.

19. Break the bad habits: before turning 30, you need to break your bad habits. Get rid of some bad habits and then develop new ones.

20. Realise that you can't do everything: as you kick out bad habits and bad friends, you must understand that most things come from luck and not by anyone's power. All you need to do is focus, believe and never underrate anyone whatsoever, by doing this you will outperforms any challenges.

So whether you're 30 already or almost 30, it is never too late to start making the right decision and understanding the right path to financial freedom.

Varsity Workers Begin Nationwide Strike Feb 5

Non-teaching staff in universities will commence a nationwide strike from February 15, 2021 over the Federal Government’s handling of the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System(IPPIS), sharing formula of the N40 billion earned academic allowances and non-payment of arrears of the new minimum wage. The workers, under the Joint Action Committee, which is made up of Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities, (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) had last week embarked on a three- day protest over government’s failure to honour the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed with the unions on 20th October, 2020. The committee said other contentious issues that informed the decision to embark on a nationwide industrial action include inconsistencies in IPPIS payment and the delay in the renegotiation of the FGN/ ASUU/SSANU 2009 Agreement. Others are the non-payment of retirement benefits to former members, non-constit
