THE ROLES OF INDOLENCE IN A MAN'S CAREER

Indolence can be referred to as the unwillingness to work or use of ones energy, it is also being unable to carry out certain task. Indolence comes from an insufficient emotional, mental and physical connection to our environment. Indolence has a negative effect on a person's personal and professional life, it prohibits an individual from getting important things done at due time. For example, failing to meet deadlines and failing to submit assignments on time. Indolence would always make you delay or postpone tasks that should be accomplished on time, make you feel bad about yourself, guilty and frustrated, appeased only with the ever alluring reward of inactivity. Indolence is a disease that eats the mind, a system responsible for making men reluctant.
This disease Indolence, can lead to disinclination of activity or exertion despite having the ability to act or exert oneself, it makes a man miss out so many opportunities one of which include job opportunities, yes Indolence has made so many youths lost their jobs or loose the offer for a job.
So many teens and youths are suffering from the disease Indolence in this era of covid 19 lockdown, remember a popular saying that “If you don't come out of this lockdown with a new idea, side hustle, business or skill you never lacked time you lacked discipline" An indolent individual will always fall victim of indiscipline, to take a pen to paper and strategise or plan becomes a difficult task. Indolence also has taken over the hearts of many people this epoch, not giving them the proposition to think of a better way to approach the post covid era and stand out as a victor.
[A regretable post-covid conversation] Oh!  Covid is over, different guyz with new ideas, business, skills, side hustle, new talents and I, I'm still at inertia. My God!! I have fallen a victim of Indolence😩😩
Moral lesson: Indolence will only bring you regrets, life is too short to live in regrets.

Non-teaching staff in universities will commence a nationwide strike from February 15, 2021 over the Federal Government’s handling of the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System(IPPIS), sharing formula of the N40 billion earned academic allowances and non-payment of arrears of the new minimum wage. The workers, under the Joint Action Committee, which is made up of Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Universities, (SSANU) and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU) had last week embarked on a three- day protest over government’s failure to honour the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed with the unions on 20th October, 2020. The committee said other contentious issues that informed the decision to embark on a nationwide industrial action include inconsistencies in IPPIS payment and the delay in the renegotiation of the FGN/ ASUU/SSANU 2009 Agreement. Others are the non-payment of retirement benefits to former members, non-con...

7 Ways You Can Make Yourself More Valuable

Wherever you see yourself in life, do your hardest to make people consider you and your beliefs, because it matters a lot nowadays. For one reason or the other, several individuals in your communities often devalue other citizens, but most importantly because of class. The poor people in our neighborhoods are devalued because money is now seen as the order of the day. Always have a positive effect on people through your presence, and if you don't make an impact, then your absence won't make a difference.   There are eight ways below to help make people respect you and your opinion. 1. Always Keep your word.   Many people, once they see you as a person who sticks to your words, will respect and trust you more. Always guarantee what you know you can do, you should be considered a decent person in no condition should you promise something you can't do. 2. Be polite to others and their views. If you want real individuals to respect you in life, this is very important. Remem...
