13 States In Nigeria That Has Announced School Resumption Dates

Some months ago, federal government of Nigeria shutdown schools ranging from nursery to tertiary institution, in a bid to avoid the spread of the deadly disease called Covid-19.


However, following the decreasing rates of infection of the corona virus in the country, the federal government of Nigeria announced that all schools across the country can now resume academic activities in phases.


following the announcement made by the federal government of Nigeria, some states across the country has announced resumption dates for tertiary institution.


The following are 13 states out of the 36 states in the country that has announced resumption dates for tertiary institution.



Akwa Ibom State: The Akwa Ibom State government has announced September 21st 2020 as the official resumption dates for tertiary institution across the state.


Benue State: Benue State government has also announced September 21st 2020 as the official resumption dates for tertiary institution.


Borno State: Borno State announced some weeks ago that tertiary schools in the state will be resuming academic activities on September 14th 2020.

Note: Kogi state University is already in session, and Schools under ASUU will not be allowed to resume academic activities with the resumption dates listed above.
